Thursday, YouTube announced that much like American households this February, they are going HD.
In a necessary move to keep up with new emerging high quality video sites like Vimeo, YouTube began earlier this month giving viewers the option to watch selected videos in high definition. Now YouTube has launched the HD area of their site where viewers can watch videos that are uploaded in the HD format.
To help with any questions for uploading the material, YouTube has posted a FAQ to make that process easier. To go along with the HD broadcast technology, YouTube began expanding the screen of its HD content earlier this month to give its videos more of a movie theater/HD television experience.
