JP Morgan just recently came out with a study, which is available to its clients only, on what users feel Bing’s greatest strength is so far. This study was based on a sample of 763 U.S. adults and their search behavior for the month of June, which was Bing’s first month in which it replaced Live Search.
The factors rated in this study included organization of results, variety of results (i.e. maps, video, image, etc), relevance of results, speed and user interface. Participants were asked to choose only one of these factors in rating Bing’s greatest strength. The chart below outlines the overall finding:

The factor of relevance of results had the greatest percentage. This is definitely good for Bing. The next step is convincing searchers that Bing’s results are more relevant than Google’s. That’s the uphill battle that Bing will have to face if they ever want to overtake Google.
