The launch of “real time” search on Google has finally arrived. This morning, Google announced that they have rolled out nine new ways to narrow down search results. All of the new search refinement tools include the ability to see search results from:
- the past hour
- a specific date range
- more shopping sites
- fewer shopping sites
- visited pages
- not yet visited pages
- books
- blogs
- news
The most awaited of these tools is, of course, the ability to see results on a specific query that have been posted in the last 24 hours. All of the tools should be available to everyone at some point today.
