It’s hard to believe that we’re full swing into the trade show, conference and expo season! And to kick it all off, 15miles sent the best local-search marketers to New York City today for Borrell’s Local Online Advertising Conference. This event is hosted by Borrell Associates, which is a research and consulting firm that tracks local advertising and helps media companies develop executive strategies.
From February 8 to 9, 2010, we’ll join industry leaders responsible for developing, managing, marketing, and selling technology-related services and solutions. This year’s theme, “Business of Making Money,” focuses on online advertising business models and strategies to help marketers optimize the value and return of their interactive efforts. In other words, two days will be devoted to helping businesses generate revenue from their interactive and online operations.
Here are just some of the sessions packed into the conference’ two-day run:
- Turning Hyper Local Into Hyper Profit
- A Case for Converged Sales: How the Yellow Pages Sell Online
- The New Advertising Opportunity: Reputation Management
- What Main Street Is Buying and Why
- Making Social Networking Sites Work for Local Advertisers
- What National Advertisers Want From Local Sites
- Mobile Advertising
- Stand-Alone Shopping Sites
