Willing to Go the Extra Mile for an iPad?

In its twelfth year, Search Engine Strategies (SES) is hitting San Francisco’s Moscone Center later this summer (August 16 through August 20, in fact). Organized by its own advisory board, as well as ClickZ and Search Engine Watch, this convention is poised to be one of the largest and most attended in the industry, drawing thousands of marketers and agency professionals.

Attendees will have the opportunity to attend sessions covering SEM: SEO, PPC, social media, keyword research, local, mobile, online video and much more. If you’ve never attended an SES show before, you’ll be in the mix of high-level keynotes, and you’ll have the opportunity to access networking events, parties and an expo hall featuring more than 100 companies.

As we have done in years past, 15miles will host a booth in the expo hall. Stop by booth #417 to network with our professional marketers, or just say “hello.” New this year is our Social Scavenger Hunt, which will award one lucky winner with the Grand Prize iPad. This contest will pit online/at-home contestants against on-the-ground participants at SES. Oh, and time is also a player in this limited engagement.

Basically, participants will have to stay tuned to 15miles’ Twitter account for six clues across two days (on-the-ground contestants can also get each clue by visiting our booth at specific times throughout the conference). By successfully answering each clue, players will receive a letter that is part of a scrambled word. Once you have unscrambled the keyword, send it via Twitter direct message to our @15_miles account. One winner will be randomly selected.

Finally, make plans to attend a Theater Presentation, “OMG — You’re Competing Against Your Own Brand,” by 15miles President Gregg Stewart. This live event will take place in the Expo Hall Theater on August 17 at 5:30 p.m. Stewart will explain the essential steps that national and local marketers must take to ensure that their advertising efforts in search, as well as social marketing, are not competitive, but complementary.

Please stay tuned to our Twitter page for live updates throughout SES, as well as all the details surrounding our Social Scavenger Hunt.
