Tweeting Just Got Easier

On August 12th, Twitter rolled out an even easier way to share information by rolling out the Tweet Button.

The new tool allows users to share information via Twitter directly from the website they are visiting.  When someone clicks on a Tweet Button, a Tweet box appears which is pre-populated with a shortened link  (using Twitter’s very own shortener, t.co ) and posts to the Twitter account that the person is logged in under. The Twitter blog boasts “The Tweet Button is not only simple for users, but for publishers of all sizes, too.  Recreational bloggers to large media companies can quickly and easily add the Tweet Button to their sites”.  By adding a small snippet of code, the feature can be easily added onto small and large websites alike.
