With laptop and iPhone in hand, I am ready to hit the SMX East floor running. I typically don’t like to get that much exercise, but there are so many fascinating sessions I will have to run to catch them all.

The interactive division of TMPDM has officially arrived at SMX East. Visit us at booth 436. We are also attending sessions to get multiple perspectives on trends and advancements happening in the interactive marketing space. I’m on the ground for the social sessions, plus Jason Barrett is attending as well as speaking from an SEO standpoint on Monday. In Anticipation of SMX East — SEM

In some ways, this week’s SMX Conference in New York is an event of firsts. First, it begins an exciting new chapter in our agency, marking the first public debut of TMP Directional Marketing’s new interactive division — 15miles. We will have a booth presence at the exhibit hall, and 15miles is sponsoring the Local/Mobile track of conference sessions. Also, this is my first SMX Conference that I am attending, and my expectations are somewhat high. I have been to many SES shows, and while I always find them to be beneficial, the consensus among many of my colleagues and vendor partners seems to be this: As the number of search-marketing-related conferences increases, SMX has developed itself to be a somewhat more advanced track for search marketers.
