    Alternative energy has been a popular topic lately as gas prices rise and resources become scarcer. Google and GE aren’t waiting for the government to find a solution. They are tasking themselves with a new initiative outside of search engines and home appliances. That task being, to develop a renewable energy source that can be implemented nationwide. It may seem like the job is out of scope for the two companies, but it makes sense considering they house some of the brightest minds in innovation and engineering.

  2. Wow! The First Online Presidential Debates

    How cool would it be to have an online presidential debate in the 2008 Presidential Campaign?!! Yahoo and Huffington Post plan to host two presidential debates during the 2008 campaign. These interactive debates will be available on three different websites and will allow voters to ask questions as well as evaluate the candidates’ performance.  With the implementation of an online presidential debate, Americans are able to be more closely connected to the electoral process than ever before. This will not only change aged traditions in this process, but will also greatly integrate technology with politics.
